North Kessock is a busy little village of about 600 people, which lies along the north shore of the Beauly Firth, facing south towards Inverness. It's main features are its pleasant sea-front, from where bottle-nose dolphins can often be seen, and
its various facilities, of hotel, park, dolphin centre, targemaker, hall, post office, grocers, and tearoom. Nowadays, the village is within easy reach of Inverness, which is only 10 minutes drive away
across the Kessock Bridge. - a bit quicker than the ferry we used to use ! North Kessock is a very pleasant place to spend a lazy summer afternoon.
